The Stani>aiid was the only Manawatu journal which published m last evening's issue the final result of the political crisis. We had arranged with our special Parliamentary Correspondent to send ns an "urgent" telegram immediately the Premier made his statement, and thus we were enabled to hiy the important im formation before our .leaders. The Prehs Association message, did not 'reach us till our correspondent's telegram was m type, so that we gained by the arrangement made. . The paper was just 'going to press when the intelligence reached us, but we " unlocked " to let -it m, which although it delayed publication somewhat allowed our > readers m town and country to learn what had transpired at such an important juncture.
