ST. PETER'S INSTITUTE.
We cordially congratulate the Rev. Mr Coping ER. and- the other promoters of ; St. Peter's Institute and young Men's Club on the success that attended iis inaugural meeting last night. Such an -institution cannot fail to le productive of beneficial cf T fects on the young men of the district, and directly, n» well as indirectly, on society m general. As we referred at some length m a recent issue to the objects of this and kindred institu(ionx,iand pointed out the benefits certain to 'accrue through their instrumentality, we need "not now recapitulate those observations* We bah only hope the success which was characteristic of its inaugural meeting will be continuous, and make itself still more apparent as {time goes on. We urge on our young, men to become: members, ard assure them, that they will experience substantial and enduring benefits from their therewith. : ■■'■.' \. . *
