(by electric telegraph-copybight.) (BBUTBB'S TKLKQBAJ4P.) London, June 2. The Australians commenced a cricket match to-day against eleven of Derbyshire at Derby. The weather was fine and the attendance good, but the wicket was rather bumpy. The ?isitors»went m first and scored 273, the highest contributors being Bau46 ; and Palmer not out, 57. ■fSpofforth's hand being now healed he was able to bat and scored 19. At the close of the day's play the home team had 1 wicket down for 25 runs.
