The Nautical Court.
(united press association.) "Wet.mxoton-, May 31. At ihe Nautical Court, judgment wa* delivered m the enquiry into tht foundering of the steamer Kangaroo. The Court found that the steamer was much nearer the shore when she struck tlian was stated by Captain Dyb.ill and their opinion was formed by the course steered after striking, and also that the steamer is now further out than when she struck. The court find that the Kangaroo struck on Bowler's reef, and that the evidence had entirely failed to show any existence of danger of Cape ' ampbell which was not marked on the AUmirality chart. They hold Captain Dyball responsible for the accident by taking the steamer too close to the shore, f.nl they suspended his certificate for 3 months and ordered him to pay costs of enquiry. Notice of appeal has been given.
