Wo are readier to pardon those who. laugh at onr gravity than those who da not laugh at our jokes. ! When a man has ao design but to. speak plain truth, he may say a great deal m a very narrow compass. When. a. person writes, a poem to kilt time, he may be pretty sure that timer will have its revenge and kill the poem, If we did but know how Kttl©> some enjoy of the great things they- possess, there, would not be much envy m, the world.
