The match between the Australian Eleven and Lord Sheffield's Eleven was concluded to-day, the visitors winning the match by an innings and six runs. The bowling of the Australians was very effective, and the wickets fell rapidly. There was a large attendance of spectators and splendid weather. The visitors made 212 m their first innings, while the Home team only got 86 m their first and 120 m their second. There was great excitement at the result.
