Police Changes.

■■« ' » (Marton Paper.) Constable Manning, of Bulls, has re* coived orders to move to Palmersron, to which place he has been transferred. Who is to be his successor at Bulls ia not known ; probably Constable Price of Feilding. Constable Manning has been sta* tioned m Bulls a little over four year?, and during t !ie whole of that time ha« proved himself an efficient and courteous officer. He is much liked m the district, and his removal is regretted by one and all. Had there been sufficient time, some public recognition of his worth would have been tendered to him. The definite orders for his removal only reached him on Wednesday. However, Oonatable Manning takes with him the hearty good wishes of the residents of this district.
