A few lines of caltle passed off at low rates. Sheep remain at last report's values, dood lines of wethers are saleable for turnip lee. ling at o full current prices. Pigs nro m demand, and command a good nmrlcet. I sold some splendid b con pigs to-day up to £4 each. I have inquiries for good useful horses fit for cab or tram work, but scrubbers are bnrelv saleable at any price. . ; Cattle. At St. Hill-street the beef was of inferior quality. Only one ptn of cows were sold at £3 < 12s .6(1. * The sale was made up of 124 hoail.. Cows, 293) yearling ateerp, 25a j weaners 13s. ■ ' > Sheep.— B67 heaiJ wore penned, and all sold. Fat sheep, lls lOd to 12s Id ; inferior wetherp, 5s od ; lambs, 4s 6d. Pigs.— 6o head made up the sale. Bacm pins, £2 153 to £4; porlurs, 283 to 335 ; store.*, 13.
