Ashurst Concert.

The concert given m the Schoolhouse, Ashurst, on Tuesday evening 1 , ■passed off most successfully. We. be- , lievc the 'attendance would have been larger had the charge for admission not been so high. However, those who attended seemed well pleased with the entertainment, testifying their appreciation by heartily applauding" the various items on the programme. After the conclusion of the concert, the singers and other friends adjourned to Mr Geo.
