Benevolent Institution m Difficulties.
Dunbdin, April 15. ' A deputation waited on the Colonial. Secretary to-day, and asked that m consequence of the present distress and state of the funds of the Benevolent Institution, the government .should grant an additional subsidy to the institution.. Mr Dick promised that if it were shown that the Asylum Commitieo could not carry on an additional sum would be granted.
