Taw Mao's Farewell Address.(united phess' assoceatioit.') ; . , Auckland, April J..' • Tawhiao has pttblished a farewell addießs to the editor of the evr Zealand JEer^ld. . ;; , ; , . ,; ; .. , 'His Excellency the governor having heard that Tawhiao would like to see him before he left for England, kindly intimated to him that he would lie j?lad to receive a visit from him at any time. Tawhiao at once determined to -gcytind proceeded to Gtovernmen^ House accompanied by Patara, Te Tuhi, and Topia f uroa. Mr. C. Q. Davis .accota^' pariied the Moaris as interpreter. His Excellency said he was glad to see Tawhiao, and he would have seen him some time ago when he was at Alex* anidra, but he was accidentally prevented from going to Whatiwhatihoe.- : He was no<v glad to meet him, and he h oped he 1 Would hijive' a pi ea&ant voyage to England. The Maoids, who were extremely pleased with 1 their reception by his Excellency, left for Australia to-night en roii'te for England!
