MANCHESTER SCHOOL.

The present teacher-, who has not given satisfaction, has resigned, and will shortly leave. His place will be filled l»y Mrs Boddy, formerly of Turakina, m whom we believe, the parents will find a very competent, ex peri- ! enced and conscientious teacher. There is now a considerable number on the roll ofthlsschool.though the attendance of late has not been good or regular, mainly through dissatisfaction with the teacher. It is to be hoped that under Mrs Boddy 's regime a different state: of things will prevail, and that the settlers residing m and around Bunny thorpe will feel entire confidence that their children are properly attended to, carefully looked after, and treated with <lne consideration and an intelligent blending of kindness and firmness.
