• Frpm a letter received by a gentlei man m Wangauui re the charges on frozen meat, "wo (Herald) extract the following : " 80 fat sheep were shipped by the Doric ; the colonial charges oh the same amounted to £85> 17s Bd r and the home charges were £14 16s 9d, altogether making £100 Us 2d. The amount "realised m the London market was <£114 Is lOd, leaving a credit balance for 80 sheep of £1 3 7a 'Bd.'
