Friday morning. The business of the past month has been fairly active. Stocks, with the exception of one or two lines, have been kept up co the general level by the arrival from '^beyond Australasian waters of the Waimea, British Queen ss, Onyx, AlexA^layercargilli Ajnazon, C. L. Pearson/, and Hatald Haarfager. Trade on the whole is pound, . and injsoh encies few and unimportant.
