The despatch ot the brigade of Egyptian troops, which was under orders to proceed to Assouan, with a view of checking any advance of the rebels into Egypt Proper, . has been abandoned. ; --■ , The latest intelligence from Souakira state* that five of the garrison who ktely avacuated Sinkat, after tbe destruction of the forts by commander Tewfik Bey, havo arrived at Souakim accompanied by several women. Their statements fully confirm the account o1 the fall of Sinkat as previously ieported.
