Up to date 226,000 bales bave arrived ; 38,000 bales have been sent to the manufacturing districts direct. Wheat. — The market has a downward tendency. Adelaide is worth 465, and New Zealand 41s per 4961b5. , Tallow.— Market quiet. Muttoa is worth 435, and beef 39s per cwt. Leather. — Market quiet. Best sides are worth lOf d per lb. New Zealand Hemp.— Market quiet. Fine is worth £27 per ton.
