The chairman reead a letter from the : Chairman of the ;Mana,watM|Road Board, .asking whether any of the money added itothe price of section 443, Palmerston 'Norths for- improvements, Had been so [added on account -of— his board, and (urging the claim;ofthe'board^ for a rejeoup .on account of the increased valse pow placed upon the section. It was resolved " The receipt of the letter be acknowledged, and that, fhe chairman of the Manawatu, Road bt> informedcthat the, improvements with which the sec - tion is weighted do not m any way relate to road work done by the Road Board. ! The Chairman mentioned that the' membership, of Mr W. "W". Taylor would terminate on the 16th instant.
