Live Stock and Produce.
Mr Alfred Buckland's report. —At the Huymarket on .Friday, 18th instant, fodder ranged from Is \6& )ito 4s 9d, but the greater part between 3s and 4s 3d per cwt.; oats, 2a.6d per bushel. Horse stock were m usual supply and lato values, and there is an improving demand for draught stock. At the sale of wool, hides, and sheepskins, on Tuesday, hides ranged from" 2£d to 4d per lb.; sheepskins, from Is to 2s eich ; tallow, 25s to 26s percwt; long wool m grease, 4£d" to "6f d; washed, 7^d; merino m grease, 7|d per lb, At. Eemuera on Thursday dairy cattle were m moderate supply; and maintained tbe improved values noted last week. Store cattle m fully average number and better inquiry. Fat cattle were brought forward far m excess of requirement, and msiny re-, main- unsold. Paces, were lower than for., many weeks, from 20s to 30s per head. The greater part brought from 18* to 20s the lOOlbs, but choice animals were at 22s 6d. Fat sheep were also, m full numbers, but were: steady m price at 2|d per lb;.lambs were m ,good inquiry, those 6f; gopd' qnaljty brought from JOs to 14s eacb, J and a fair market of well-fattened meduim sized pigs met with a good sale. :■;'■.'■
