(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATIO V.) Gisbobne, January 17. The New Zealand Native Land Settlement Company had a very successful sale to-day of a large numbar of suburban sections just across the river. The average price was more than double the upset price, and ranged from £108 to £26. The total amount realised at ihe sale was L 4957. Mr Poynter, a Tasinanjan settler, formerly of tins district, \yas the largest buyer. Some rural laud at Matawhero sold at from I^lo to L 32 an acre, the total amount received being L531.J The Cook, County Qounoil and the Gisborne Borough Council have agreed to a conference as to altering the constitution of the Harbor Board to represent the country districts.
