(SPECIAL TELEGRAM TO THE STANDABD.) i IUNITED JfBESS ASSOCIATION.) WellingtonJ This Day. "Weather forecast for 24 hours from 9 a.m. to-day :— Wind between north-west and southwest m both Islands. Changing to between south-west and south-east at alt places south of Kaikoura and Westport after 16 hours. . Barometer— Eall at all stations, but vising after 16 hours. Sea heavy on the western coast . and between Castlepoint and Kaikoura within 12 hours, and sit places south of Lyttelton after 16 hours. Warnings for gales as above indicated, have been sent to all stations.
