Tlasell and Co. report prices as under:—Flour, £10 toLll j pollard, L 4 10s j bran, IA; potatoes, market overstocked^ imported samples quite unsaleable } Hutt grown flukes, 5s 6d ; New Zealand grown onions, Id per lb ; oats, good feed, 2s 3d to 3s 6d ; seed dp, 2a 9d; fowls' wheat, 2s 6d to 3s; barley, 38 ; maize, none m market ; chaff, very scarce ; new cheese, 5| to 6d j butter, supply m excess of demand; bacon, and hams (prime quality), 8d to 9d. Fowls, 3s to 4s per pair. George Thomas reports fruit and produce prices as follows :— Tn conse quence of large parcels of eggs coming forward, rates have reduced to Is Id and Is 2d, but no doubt the market will improve m a few days. A somewhat better demand has existed for onions, and L 6 10s to L 7 may now be fairly quoted. Poultry quite neglected ; ducks, 8s lOd to 4s ; geese, 4s 6d to srf ; fowls, 3s 9.d. Potatoes, L 5 to L 6; pats, 2s 2d to 2s sd. Bran, pollard, oatmeal, and flour at last week's quotations ; chaff is rather scarce, and L 5 readily obtained ; bacon and hams dull at 9d all round ; cheese, (3d.
