At the R. M". Court, Bulls, on Thursday last,' Mr Ward, R.M., disposed of the case of Stevens and Grorton v. E. J. Riddiford, whioh was a claim for £100 for commission m purchasing an estate for defendant. The property m question was Mr Alexander Bell's at Halcombe, which Mr Riddifoid bought, through Messrs Stevens and Gorton, for £10,580.. The evidence for tbe defendant had been taken m Wanganui. Mr Esajn appeared for the plaintiffs, and Mr Eic^erbert for the defendant- After a long hearing, his Worship gave judgment for the plaintiffs ipv. .-6JOQ and ousts.
