I London, January 11. , Mr Childers Chancellor of the Exchequer lias informed the Colonial Agents-General that the Concession recently made to Spain , with regard to 'duties on wine will be extended to the Colonies. The , communication states that the limit of _ thirty degrees of spirit strength must not -be exceeded, but adds that Mr Childers will take into considerstson the proposal of-Jhe Agents-General that a sliding scale of daties should be adopted.
