There are rumors Here of ajSpVbacjhing heavy commercial failures. Several .names are mentioned, but no one appears to know definitely who is referred to. It is expected the name will be: divulged m a few days. . The steamer Tui leaves for Foxton this afternoon. Jt is stated that the express steamer Takapuna is to be sold. She is not a favorite with the travelling public and does not pay expenses being very costly to maintain. It is alleged that: she cannot accomplish the speed as contracted for by her builder and that possibly she may be turned back oniheir hands. Three whales havo been cast ashore here aDd have been secured, their cap tors will probably make a good thing; out of the capture. (
