Orbell and Co., report : — " Our sale yards at Johnsonville during the past month have been unusually well attended by both buyers and sellers, and fair prices for horses, cattle and pigs were obtained. We quote heavy draught horses from .£3O to £40; medium, £20 to £25; light harness, £8 to Lls; hacks, L5 to Ll2. Fat cnttle, none forwarded ; dairy cows at a discount; useful siores, from L3 to L4 10s; fat sheep, 10s to 12s \ fat lambs, 8s ; store slieep are in active demand — we could place a number at high rates; pigs sell readily.
