A.t our sale held at Feilding on the 28th inst., there were about 175 head of cattle and 100 sheep yarded. ; Notwithstanding* the very rough weather, there -was a fair attendaucepbutr the bidding was not spiriEeli, afew loss of cattle sold under the hamTOßr~str~the~ following prices : — 3-year-old steers, £3 6s to £4 15s ; a pen of light beef were passed at £6.;12;s 6d ; yearling* stters, from 30s ; mixed yearlings, 25s to 28s ; Female cattle of all . kinds ure difficult to quit at anything like fair prices. Sheep are not m demand, and sellers prefer holding to accepting less prices then were ruling a month or six weeks since, Hoises — only a few hacks came forward, for which there was but little demand, puces being from £5 to £8.
