AUCKLAND STOCKAND PRODUCE MARKETS.
Mr Alfred Buckland's Report.— At !^ a .™ ar^t, on Fiiday last, very little fodder was brought, forward, but prices were without altei-atioh-from past sales. TTieyardwascompletelV "crowded with hope stock, apd one of the most brisk sales that has taken place for many months, and sellers were fully satisfied with the prices obtained ; nearly 100 horses weie sold. At the hide and skm sale on Tuesday,, best hides brought from 2*d to B|d per lb. -.sheepskin*, 10d to 3s 4,d.each.; r tallow, 20s to 29s per cwt:, and a numerous lot of small parcels of wool brought from 4d to 6d per lb. At the third wool sale of the season,^ 264 bales were- pitched. Prices previously ruling were fully sustained, and with alight exception, all were sold at the'auceiohV' At Remuera, on rhursday, dwj cattle were m limited nunrbeiy but dull of sale. Store cattle m fullsupply and steady enquiry at late values. Fat cattle m less than average number- -#ose:of. full quality 7™?,^ com P e **Hfof np to 25s per lOOlbs., but second quality were not more than 20s the lOOlbs. The sheep market waß fully supplied with stock, of better quality than usual, ana a slight improvement on last week s values of fatsheep-wasobtained. JStore^sheep were also m good demand. Lambs of first-cla^qnality werS unusually numeiOus. Many hundred were yarded; and bfongbt^from; •9s 'tS 14s each, and an average market of ooofl pigs met with, a good, sale. °
