AN ODDFELLOWS' HALL.
"We learn that the Odd Fellows have decided to erect a Hall m some central position m town. We hear that the building will be substantial and commodious, suitable for all kinds of public assemblies, and 'will be a credit alike to the town and the body by which it is to be erected. There can be no doubt that a suitable building* would turn out a capital investment to the order, and might obviate f -he necessity for the erection of a public theatre^ which is only too apparent as well to residents as to strangers. A commodious and well-managed building 1 f r the use of public entertainment is one of the recognized wants of Palmer«toi).
