A correspondent sends to the Jrfelbourne Tekgraph an account of an extraordinary occurrence which took place at Sandridge recently, a Bhatk. about 5£ feet m length, was seen clost to the piev, ia shallow water. Two men under the ioflaence of driok, went out m a small bjat to try, and capture it. lhe shark yot undir the b >ar, and thle men, m trying to strike it with an iron bar, capsized ih m*elves and th« beat on top of the shark. Jackson -pursued him m the watfr, and caught him again bj the body. The shark. &rew him down four times.
