The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at their wool *ale to-day offered 4200 bales; 3500 bales were sold at excellent prices, fine sorts being m very good demand. There was a good attendance of home and foreign buyers. Good competition was experienced, and prices were firmly maintained.
