W e learn that Mr Notman, the Trustee m bankruptcy, ha 9 received an offer from Mr Prtraons of Timaru to purchase the Rutland Hotel, provided the rent ia reduced to £550 a year, and that Mr WaU, the landlord, has agreed to reduce it to that Bum. The next step out of the difficulty ia to arrange for ke^epijur the licen«e alive, but how that is to be done it would not be easy to say. .
