CARTERTON SHOW.
(ONITED PRESS ASSOCIATION-.) Cateeton November 1. The Annual Wairarapa Agricultural and Pastoral Show is being held here to-day. Heavy rain fell early m the morning, but the weather has now cleared up. Large number* of people are pouring into the town from the surrounding Country. The Show is cbnsidere 1 equal to that of last jear which was Ihe best ever held m the district : —There were 53 L exhibits. Horseß, 84 j cattle, 89 ; sheep, 232; pi>s, 5 ; poultry, 15 ; dops, J5 ; agricultural implements, 14 ; buggie, If; Butter, 19; cheese, 3 ; bacon, 9 ; leather, 1 • wool, 1; preserved meat, 2; oats, 2 j hop?, 1 • tobacco, 2; woollen goods, 2. There are ten entries for the shearing match.
