London, Sept. 26. The cargo of frozen meat on board the ship mataura from Auokland was examined to-day, when a considerable portion was found to be rotten. Madbiba, Sept. 26. A number of bands of armed guerillas are scouring the Northern provinces of Spain. Several detachments of gendarmes have been despatched m parsuit, Constantinople, September 26. A serious conflagration occurred toiay at Kadikos, one half of the town being totally destroyed before the | fl-tmes could be extinguished. j * Paris, September 27. j Much indignation is expressed at the approaching visit to this oity of King Alfonso, of Spain.
