Gun Accident.
o- — r— (BT IKLEORAPH.) (UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION) Auckland, August 29* Two boys— Bydder, aged 15 years, and Hughes, 13,— were out seagull - ! shooting, when the former's gun went off accidentally. A marble, with which it was loaded, struck Hughes m the neck, travelling down his back, and lodging m the lower part. The wound- has been probed, without discovering the ball ; but the boy seems to bear up well. Bydder is the boy who swam ashore from the boat out of of which Professor Walker was drowned, und Hughes; is a . grandson of Mr Hughes, solicitor. ' Latbr, The boy Alfred Hughes,- the victim of the late gun accident, is doing well. No attempt has bean made to extract the marble from the tissues of his back for tear of exhausting the patient. ; •=
