Cable information has been received that the first three direct steamers of the <ha,w, Seville, and Co. line are to sail for London as follows :— -The first on the 25th Septetdber, for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Port Chalmers; the second, on the' 25th of October, for ,Fort Chalmers; Lyttelton, and Wellington, the third on the 25th ol Noveu.ber, for Lyttelton and »v*ellinirton. Government have received a telegram from the Agent- General, under date London, 9th instant, stating that the Doric, with 274 emigrants for Auckland, nbe elson lor with 344 Otago, and th Taranaki with 340 for Canterbury, have sailed from London for this colony.
