A doctor and fortj hospital assistants l>a?e proceeded from India to Egypt to render assistance m the efforts which are being made to stop the spreading of cholera. Sir Charles Hirers Wilson, one of the representatives of Great Britain on the council of the Suez Canal Co., reports that it is. the intention of Baron de Lesseps to immediately proceed wi'h the construction of the second canal, and promises to maintain it. The pro» posed reductions m the charges will be m proportion to the increased profits. This action has released the Government of the necessity of submitting the agreement to the vote. --...--...
