The Lady Jocelyn.
[Post's London Letter.] London, June 14. The Lady Jocelyn (Capt. Bowman) arrived from Wellington late last night, after a protracted voyage of 110 days. The numerous passengers, including Sir John Hall and family are m ex&£j? lent health, though, naturally, extremely glad they have at length reached thair destination. The tedium of the voyage was beguiled by| dances, concerts, and similar amusements. iMrs J. E. FitzGerald, of Wellington; afforded special pleasure by her pianoforte playing: Sir John and Lady Hall and family left the ship ; at XJravesend, and took up temporary quarters at the Cbariag Cro3S Hotel. The only unpleasant incident (or rather the only incident ot any kind) on the voyage was the disappear* anoe, on the 29th April, ot a misanthropic cook's assistant, named Thos. Peel, who, it is feared j committed suicide by dropping overboard. The Lady Jocelyn brings a large cargo of frozen meat, including 5794 carcasses of mutton, 352 quarters of beef, 12 pieces of beef, 10 fish, 326 docks, 3 tuba of butter, and some milk. The latter, I may as well at once etate, proved like tn« milk en the Sorrento and British Kiug— a failure. The mutton and beef are m prime condition.
