THE FIRE BRIGADE.
At the Fire Brigade meeting last night, the feeling was apparently unanimou to form the Brigade at once, the sum '>• £30 voted by the Borough Council to I be the nucleus of a fund to be devoted to its maintenance. The provisional committee of working membors which was appointed, will collect and furnish all necessary information, and institute inquiries m connection with the amoun 1 of support likely to be extended, and will bring up a report to an adjourne ■ meeting to be held at the Comm.icia; Hotel next Wednesday evening. c only trust the townspeople will warmly promote the undertaking, and will readily co-operate m any plan for its euccessTuT lnauguration.
