Dunedin Gaol Inquiry.

The Commissioners appointed to inquire into the management of the JDunedin gaol sat here this morning, and took the evidence of the Dunedin prisoner, Oummieh, who had been transferred to Wellington. Cumroick spoke Utrongly against Mr Caldwell, and his : evidence -was not all favourable to {he management. The prisoner also geye evidence as to witnessing impropiieties between male and female prisoners. The inquiry was adjourned until Wednesday morning. ' ' ■ ■ '\
