Lingard's Bankruptcy
tWanganui Herald.] A meeting of publicana, affected by Mr Lingard's bankruptcy, was held on Saturday afternoon, when, we understand Borne remarkable revelatious were Kiade. The meeting stands adjourned 11 Wednesday evening next, but we have since heard that Mr Mcllhone, who was one of the prime movers m getting the 'meeting together, has, on payment of the £28 owing by him to Mr Lingard to the Bank, been relieved of. any farther claim, although the Bank's claim against him was £250.
