Sale of Government land at Masterton, by order of the Commissioner of Crown Land. Wednesday, 18th July. Meeting of the Manawatu Koad Board.

The great transfer sale a 1 the Bon Marcbe is now on. The Keady Money Store is holdiug an annual clearing sale. Beatleyßros., (Marlborough House), ha\ j a special announc-'menb on our first page. Messrs Stevens & Gorton announce for sale oats, grass-seed, potatoes, &c. The firm is cash buyers of produce. Mrs Warae, (late of Clairville House, Feilding), has opened a respectable private boarding-house m Ashursfc, m which undertaking she should receive liberal snpport. A very valuable farm m Waikato is offered for sale. Apply Hamilton Bros., Qaeen-St. Auck'and. Mr Dixon, of the Terrace End Store announces a great clearing sale of drapery. A strong active woman is wanted as housekeeper m the country. A preliminary notice from Professor Sample will be found elsewhere. Mr Palmerson is inviting tenders for the erection of shops and cottages. Plans at Mr Larcomb'B. Mr 6. A. Preece i 3 inviting tenders for bushfellingin Fitzherbert Sonth. Mr A. H. Wylds advertises cheap coals to arrive shortly. This is a chanoe not often met with. Mr James Linton announces a very important lani sale (date to be hereafter fixed) at which some very valuable properties will be offered. Elsewhere will be found a business notice from Messrs Cazneau and Connolly, photographers. Wellington, which firm has estabished such an excellent reputation for first* lass work m all branches. Official notice is giren of the election of Councillors for Oroua County, A reward is offered for a lost horse. | Mr J. Beale is advertising for two men to erect fencing. The StandAßD collector will visit Ashurst on Tuesday the 17th inst, to collect subscriptions and other accounts due to the office. Notice of Mass next Sunday at Foxton, Palmerston. and Feilding is dnly advertised. Mr Carl Jergeusen notifies that his exhibition is now op n n daily for business, and customers will find speoial bargains being offered. Mr Manson's manager is advertising for the felling of 32 acres of bush. An important notification from the Manawatu Highway Board will be found elsewhere.
