Not even, they complain, has a bill been introduced to tive them assistance on a principal similar to that given to country districts under the Roads and Bridges Construction Act, and chey are very wroth with the Government for having been thus neglpctful of their intpr^stb. It is probable that some representations will be made to the Government on the matter.
