JOSEPH BKADY.

Joseph Brady, who was recently cxc uted for the m order of Lo d Frederick CavendisH, is, according to a London paper, a member of a somewhat remarkable family. His father and mother are not vet 60 years old, and their children number twenty-five — twenty sods and five daughters — most of whom are living, and m fairly respectable situations. Brady's father has been forty years m one employ, and bears a hi<jh chara ter. He says be was entirely ignoranr- of his sou's connection with secrer societies, and his arrest came on him as a shock. . Brady's tamPy were well aware of his intimacy with the iiiformer Carey, who, shortly before the assassination, asked Brady to become godfather to oneof hiachii&ren, Brady was apparently a devo ed .Roman Catholic, and he was so highly esteemed by the clergy of that Church that he wa3 appointed an office bearer m Annstreet Chapel, Dublin. At the door of this chapel for nine years he w.B en» trusted with the responsible duty of making the collection, and he discharged his office throughout to the satisfaction of his clergy. Brady, up to the day of his arrest, was employed by the Dublin Corporation, of which the informer Carey was a member, and since the trial it was been discovered that the convict frequently gave himself a holiday without reproof, presumably to confer with Carey and others belonging to the so-called lnvincibles.
