Warnings for easterly gales have bepn sent to all places north of Castlepoint, Wanganui, and New Plymouth. of last 24 hours : Strong southerly gales with unusually cold weather aad steadily rising barometer have been experienced generally ; &now has fallen heavily m some of ihe southern districts, R j* .
