Fire at New Plymouth.
SUPPOSED INCENDIARISM.

A six-rooraed house at Henui, next to Arinitage's tannpry, and owned bf Mr Boswpll, waa tnirned to the ground this morning at 2 o'clock. There was I a great body ot flame, the fire burning for «n hour. There ia evidence that the firo wits not accidental, as m the wooU s eds adjoining some canvas was found soaked with kerosene and the floor as well, the objrct evidently bping to destroy the woolsheds as well as thp I house. Mr Boswell. owner of the house, is at present m Wellington. He was about to remove into it, and some of his furniture, including a piano, had been taken into it only yesterday, and his family expected to go into the house to-day. The insurances on Mr Boswell's house ' are— £2oo on building m the Standard, and £250- oh furniture and piano; on thethiee woolsheds adjoining and the stock-in-trade of tannery, not burnt. £650 iD Standard.
