Hunt, in an action brought by the latter against Sir Arthur Goidon, has just returned .to Wellington. When Major Edwards left the island evidence was still being taken in the case before Mr W. B. Churchward and the English Consul as Commissioner. Mr Fletcher Johnston appeared" on behalf of Sir Arthur Gordon; and : Major Edwards on behalt of Mr Hunt.
