Sir, —As so much capital has been sought to be made out of the county advertising question, with attempts to prejudice the Chairman's position , as it he alone were responsible, please let the public know through your columns how the Councillors voted on the motion to limit the advertising to one Palmerston paper, viz,, the Standard. And oblige, Yours &c, Ratepayer. Taonui, April 9. [Urs Bruce and Linton voted against the proposition, and all the rest ot the Ors with it ; thus testifying to the almost unanimous opinion of the Council m regard to the matter. — Ed. M.S. |
