Education Board VACANCIES.
The Patfea School Committee has voted as, follows for representatives on the VPanganui Education Board : — For the ordinary vacancies, Mr Gilbert Carson, Mr G. M. Snelson, and the Rev. J- Ross ; for the extraordinary, Mr Samuel Taplin. The idea ot the Rev. Mr Doull aspiring to represent north of Wanganui was not taken kindly co. [We have since learnt that the Rev. Mr Root has withdrawn altogether.]
