The London Wool Sales.

Daring the present week the catalogues at the wool sales have aggregated 42,000 bales, of which 6000 hare been withdrawn. Good demand has been experienced, and prices firmly maintained. The withdrawals from sale since the opening of the series amount to, 18,000 bales, out of a total of 235,000 catalogued. The second series of auctions commence on the 16tb May, and is expected to comprise 550,000 bales.
