PUBLIC WORKS TENDERS.
The Government architect is inviting tenders for the erection of Police Buildings at Fox ton, M ana Tatu. General conditions, specifications, and drawings maybe seen at the Public "Works Office, Architect's Branch Wellington, and at Public Works Office, Wanganui, and Court-house Foxton. Tenders addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, and marked outside " Tender for Police Buildings, Foxton,'' will be received at the Public Works Office up to noon of Tuesday, the 27th day of March, 1883. Telegraphic tenders will be received, piovided the original tender and deposit are lodged with the nearest District Engineer at the time above specified. The usual proviso is added that the lowest or any tender will not necessarily be accepted. It is more than probable that a Palmera ton contractor will secure the job.
